Somehow after only learning to knit a couple of months ago – I’m hooked! After learning to crochet in my childhood years I had a bit of a knack for yarn lovin’ but didn’t ever really realized the endless possibilities. I have two bitty boys that are getting older by the second – so I don’t have a ton of free time…but that’s the beauty of knitting, you can set it down. I can knit while I watch TV with my sweet love on the couch. I can knit while my kiddos play. There is something so incredibly soothing about it and I can’t stop myself. Plus the fact that I can whip out a scarf/washcloth/neck cozy in one evening (after my kids are in bed) that I can gift to a loved one is one of the best feelings ever. So – this blog is to show off some of my very basic work – that will hopefully become more detailed and intricate as the months/years pass – and hopefully inspire some of you to give it a try too. The other purpose is to share some good products with you and of course my favorite local yarn shops – as well as on line yarn shops I love.
Anyone can knit – I even had the privilege of teaching someone already. Knit It Up!
As you can see above, I can even knit while my kids take their summertime swimming lessons.
